特殊冷凍テクノロジーの製品企画・開発と高品質冷凍商品のプラットフォームを運営するデイブレイク株式会社(本社:東京都品川区、代表取締役:木下昌之)は、2024年1月9日(火)~12日(金)に米国ラスベガスで開催される世界最大規模の技術見本市「CES® 2024」に初めて出展いたします。
デイブレイクは「作り手から食べ手までのより良い未来を創造する」をミッションとし、特殊冷凍テクノロジーとビックデータの両面から食の新しい可能性を提案するフードテック企業です。
特殊冷凍テクノロジーとは、従来の「急速冷凍」に特殊な原理を加えることによりさらに高品質な冷凍を実現する技術です。これまで冷凍が難しかった食材の冷凍を可能にすることで、食品ロスの防止や、生のままでは流通が難しかった商品の販路拡大などを実現してきました。
今回、特殊冷凍テクノロジーを用いた「FaaS®」(Freezing as a Service) によって、世界中の食品ロス問題を解決するというビジョンのもと、「CES® 2024」に出展いたします。
会場では、国内でトップシェアを獲得している特殊冷凍機「アートロックフリーザー」の最新機種や、特殊冷凍でつくられた冷凍商品のサンプルなどを展示する予定です。
ブースは「日本の煌びやかさ」をモチーフとし、日本の技術や食のイメージと特殊冷凍テクノロジーでのワクワクする食改革を想起させる外装となっています。

The company will be exhibiting for the first time at CES 2024, the world’s largest technology trade show, which will take place from January 9 to January 12, 2024, in Las Vegas, USA.

DayBreak will showcase its vision of solving the world’s food loss problem through “FaaS®” (Freezing as a Service), which utilizes the company’s special flash freezing technology. As the company prepares for full-scale global expansion, it aims to communicate the impact of “FaaS®” on the food industry, including the latest Japanese special flash freezing technology and its effect on food loss issues, as well as the resolution of low profit margins and lack of human resources in the food industry.
DayBreak’s special flash freezing technology achieves higher quality freezing by using a special technique for each freezing medium in quick freezing. This technology minimizes cell damage and prevents the loss of umami, making it possible to produce frozen food of higher quality than ever before.
The ARTLOCK Freezer is a flash freezer that has been developed based on nine years of research on food ingredients and customer feedbacks.
In August 2022, it received the “26th Commercial Processed Food Hit Award” sponsored by Japan Food Journal (Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries) in fiscal 2022.
